POKER HAND RANKINGS1. Royal Flush: An ace, King, Queen, Jack and Ten, all of the same suit. Actually the highest straight flush, this hand beats all other hands. 2. Straight Flush: A hand containing 5 cards in a row, of the same suit. An example: 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 of diamonds. 3. Four of a Kind: A hand with 4 cards of the same rank. For example, a two of spades, two of hearts, two of diamonds and a two of clubs. 4. Full House: Three of a kind, plus two of a kind. Example, three Tens, and 2 Jacks would be a full house. 5. Flush: Five cards of the same suit. 6. Straight: Five cards in sequence. For example, a 9, 10, Jack, Queen and King. 7. Three of a Kind: Three cards of the same rank. For example, a four of hearts, four of spades, and four of diamonds. 8.Two Pair: Two Different pairs. For example, a six of clubs and spades, and a 9 of clubs and spades. 9. One Pair: Two cards that are the same. For example, an 8 of clubs and an 8 of diamonds. 10. High Card: The lowest ranking hand, containing no pairs or straight, of different suits.
